Daniel Bryan still hasn't been cleared to make his WWE return

The WWE have had a truly awful time with injuries over the past year or so.

There's Tyson Kidd, who took a botched musclebuster from NXT star that almost killed him in the ring, causing serious neck/spinal injuries for a match that will now never be seen. Kidd isn't the only WWE superstar on the sidelines, with Randy Orton, John Cena, Rusev, Seth Rollins and Sting all currently out.

And then there is Daniel Bryan, who seems to be in serious danger of not being able to resume his WWE career at all.

The leader of the 'Yes Movement' has been sidelined for months after suffering a concussion earlier in the year. With the WWE's current concussion lawsuit and hypersensitivity to them, they have stopped him from competing.

That is, until Bryan gets cleared by a doctor, who would technically be the third neurospecialist to comment on Bryan and his brain.

According to a report from NODQ, that clearance is still yet to come. "Daniel Bryan is still waiting on the results of a third doctor's opinion on whether he can return to action," they wrote.

"As noted earlier, WWE doctors would not clear Bryan after he suffered a concussion earlier this year during the European tour. Bryan went out of his way and got a non-WWE doctor to clear him. If the third doctor clears him then he could possibly return to action."

Hopefully, Bryan is cleared and can finally make his return. WWE is struggling badly without a real protagonist whom every fan can get behind and the quicker American Dragon is back the better.
