Who should Triple H face at WrestleMania 32?

Press Conference To Announce A Major International Event At MetLife Stadium

Over the past couple of months, a number of big names have been thrown around as potential opponents for Triple H at WrestleMania 32. Seth Rollins is injured so any match with The Game will take place at around the SummerSlam pay-per-view while insurance money is the stumbling block stopping The Rock competing at the event.

WrestleMania 32 is set to be the biggest WrestleMania ever, and although there is a lack of clear-cut opponents right now, there is no way Triple H will not compete at the event. This is something he will definitely want to be a part of as we head into the business end of the WWE calendar.

The WWE need to make the best of a bad situation as so many superstars are out injured, here are potential matches we could see Triple H in at WrestleMania 32.

Batista is in a similar boat to The Rock now that he’s a Hollywood star, but there’s been no indication so far that this match cannot happen.

It’s clear that The Animal would like one final run in the WWE and he has stated numerous times he’d like his final match to be against Triple H, and there’s no better occasion than WrestleMania. Outside factors could contribute to this match not taking place, such as Batista’s schedule but if the WWE can work around it, it can work.

It’s probably not the first choice for many fans, but it would be good see Batista go out on a high before finally closing the doors on a successful career in the WWE. Triple H still has what it takes to compete at the highest level so it will be fantastic to see him compete in a match with someone he has a lot of chemistry with.

A lot of rumours are circulating around Roman Reigns regarding potential WrestleMania 32 opponents. Guys such as Brock Lesnar and John Cena have been touted, but if those matches don’t come to fruition then a match against Triple H would be key for his development.

Triple H is someone who can definitely help Reigns look incredible in the ring and it could really take Reigns to the next level. Again, it’s probably not the first choice feud for most fans but it’s important to have big names compete in big events.

This is a feud that can definitely work if Reigns is adamant on bringing down The Authority, especially now that Rollins isn’t around. Reigns is expected to compete for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but some still believe it’s too early for him.

If that’s the case, then this would be the best available option for both men.

For too long now Dean Ambrose has been floating around the scene, moving from feud to feud with nothing solid for fans to get invested into.

The way things are going it seems that Ambrose will be in a similar situation come WrestleMania time but if Triple H has no plans then this is something fans would love to see. It will be reminiscent of the Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon feud we saw in the Attitude Era which provided great entertainment.

The platform is available for them to take the plunge and see how it works out. Ambrose is so over with the WWE Universe than anything he does will receive a positive reaction, and a feud with him will result in a negative reaction for The Game which is key.

This one is a little more ‘out there’ but Bray Wyatt has already competed alongside some big names at WrestleMania. He’s mixed it up with Cena and The Undertaker and Triple H is another attractive name he could turn his attention to.

The obvious stumbling block here would be that Triple H would need to be a face, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see them turn face next year to set up a feud with him.

They would both need a big name at WrestleMania if there are a lack of opponents, and it will be interesting to see how Triple H can work opposite such different characters from The Wyatt Family.
