Lionel Messi is in line to make his Barcelona comeback on Saturday and, as far as injury returns go, they do not get any bigger than the Classico. The Blaugrana travel to Real Madrid this weekend looking to open up a six-point lead over their greatest rivals.

And the four-time Ballon d'Or winner's highly anticipated return will see the Argentine showcase a new pair of Adidas boots for the first time. The Messi15 boots were today unveiled on the official Team Messi Facebook and Twitter pages.

The boots have a black base with red and green mixed in and were described as: "A boot built to win. A boot made from Leo Messi's unrelenting desire to keep on winning, no matter what."

The boots have received a mixed reaction on social media with some people loving the colour scheme, while others, well, they're not so impressed.

Barcelona recently released a video of their number 10 partaking in training and the South American looked in good shape as he tries to make up for lost time.

The Catalan outfit have played nine games without Messi, but Luis Suarez and Neymar have emphatically stepped up in.

Neymar, in particular, has impressed. The Brazilian has produced his best form at Camp Nou during the 28-year-old's absence, scoring 10 goals in eight games, including four against Rayo Vallecano when he was simply faultless.

However, Luis Enrique could certainly use his talismanic attacker for the huge tie. Barcelona can put some breathing space between themselves and Madrid with a win and will put early pressure on Rafa Benitez.

Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly said Real would win 'nothing' with the former Liverpool man at the helm, and defeat to Barca will definitely raise questions about Benitez's reign.
