Big Chelsea deals planned

Chelsea fans expecting big transfer business in the near future have been given something to ponder this morning, with it claimed that two deals that might certainly shake things up are on the horizon.

First and foremost Oscar’s Stamford Bridge future is thought to be uncertain, with Serie A giants Juventus keeping tabs on his situation ahead of a potential offer.

But, the Blues have plans of their own. French sources say they’re monitoring Edinson Cavani as a potential upgrade on Radamel Falcao. More on that as it develops.

Valencia keen on Falcao

Meanwhile, Valencia are the club believed to be most interested in taking on Falcao, so they could hold the key to the Cavani deal if there’s absolutely any chance of that happening.

The Colombia international hasn’t settled into English football at Stamford Bridge like Jose Mourinho had hoped he would. It now looks likely he’ll be shipped before too long.

Fabregas on Suarez

Rounding us off nicely, Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas has admitted that he wishes he could have played with Luis Suarez at Barcelona, citing the fact that he believes he and the former Liverpool man would have enjoyed a great ‘understanding’ in the game.

Fabregas did only yesterday confirm that Chelsea’s season was ‘f****d’, so we get the feeling he’s living with a little emotional turmoil at the moment.
