Manchester United fans, happy Wednesday!

We’d like to welcome you to today’s effort at something resembling a round-up. If there’s credible transfer news, we have it, if there’s breaking injury news, we have it, if there’s… you get the point.

Watch the video above to see yours truly hand you the headlines on a silver platter, or read on below if you’re that way inclined.

Martial worry

Manchester United fans keeping a keen eye on England’s friendly with France last night would have been left with a sour taste in their mouths had they stuck around well after the game.

It appears striker Anthony Martial was seen limping away from Wembley on crutches with strapping on the side of his foot and ankle.

It’s believed he will have a scan prior to United’s match with Watford this weekend and, though Didier Deschamps described the issue as a ‘knock’, the youngster did look in discomfort.

"He is in a lot of pain but it is just a knock on the top of his foot," Deschamps said.

Bebe like Ronaldo

Moving on, Bebe - remember him? - has issued a statement sure to provide shock and amusement in equal measures, suggesting he has a similar playing style to one Cristiano Ronaldo.

The United flop threw himself in the same style bracket as the Real Madrid superstar when discussing idols.

Yes, you can laugh. We certainly had a giggle here at the GiveMeSport HQ.

Neymar rumour

Lastly, for our controversial transfer rumour of the day, we’ve got Manchester United supposedly on red alert with regards to their interest in Neymar.

The reason? His father has revealed he could leave Spain.

There are enough holes in the speculation to play a round of golf, but we promised you the latest, so here it is.

Neymar Sr is said to be miffed with the ongoing tax problem they’re having in Spain. Leave thoughts on that one below.
