Papy Djilobodji to leave Chelsea in January

Published Add your comment

Papy Djilobodji has only played one minute of first-team football for Chelsea, but he could be set to depart Stamford Bridge sooner rather than later. In fact, the Mirror claim that the 26-year-old could complete a move away from west London in the January transfer window. Djilobodji was brought in as an alternative to John Stones late last summer, but the former Nantes man has failed to hit the ground running on English soil. But, with Djilobodji seemingly on his way out of the club, it doesn't necessarily mean that England international John Stones will finally secure a move to the Premier League champions. In fact, the Mirror suggest that the Blues are already worried that Everton will reject their advances for the talented defender once again.
