WWE Survivor Series predictions: Will Roman Reigns become the champion?

Survivor Series takes place this Sunday and a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

Seth Rollins’ unfortunate injury has definitely changed a number of plans with the tournament concluding at the event. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Alberto Del Rio and Kevin Owens are the four men competing to capture the vacant championship title.

The Undertaker will also be in action as he teams up with Kane to take on two members from The Wyatt Family in what will be a historic night for The Deadman.

The two men are finally going to clash, but the feud hasn’t exactly screamed entertainment. I feel that Breeze is finding it tough making the transition from NXT to Raw, but we’ll see how he can deal with the pressure at Survivor Series.

He’s a great talent just like Ziggler and both could do with the win, however, I feel Breeze needs a first win more to relieve some of that pressure. Tyler Breeze wins this for me.

Fellow WWE writer Phillipa Hopwood shares a similar view: This match has just been announced on Smackdown this week and it is a justified addition to the pay-per-view. Dolph and Tyler are very similar superstars and in some ways Tyler's character reminds me of Dolph when he was going through his heel show off phase.

I like that Tyler has been given Dolph as his first main roster feud and I think the former World Champion can teach him a lot. Right now Dolph is looking great and he had a fantastic match with Ambrose this past week on Raw, but I think Tyler will walk out the victor here.

It seems as if the WWE don’t really care about tradition anymore. Survivor Series is historic and famous for these types of matches but this year it seems that it’s of no importance whatsoever, and the guys who aren’t on the card will probably be thrown together.

Expect the New Day to be involved, as well as the likes of King Barrett, Sheamus and more.

Phillipa: This could end up being The New Day and a few friends vs. The Usos and Ryback and Neville amongst others. It annoys me that the Traditional Survivor Series match has just been thrown together this year whereas it used to mean something in WWE.

The Undertaker vs. The Wyatts could have easily become the Elimination match, but instead the WWE has bucked the tradition. It is understandable that some traditions are hard to keep, but this could have been booked so much better and they could have put something more watchable together.

Thankfully The New Day will be involved so that's a positive. As for a winner, I don't even think WWE have decided yet.

One of the tougher matches to call on the night as both men deserve this chance, they’re both talented and they can both pull double duty. I do think it will be more of a surprise if Owens gets to the final, but I think fans really want to see Reigns and Ambrose go at it.

The result does seem predictable, but I hope it’s a close encounter so Owens looks like a genuine future World Champion, Ambrose wins this for me in a potential match of the night contender.

Phillipa: Let's be honest here, this is going to be a fantastic match in itself, without the fact that the winner gets to fight for the world title. Ambrose is on fire right now and Owens easily disposed of Neville Monday night to earn himself this opportunity.

For me this match comes down to politics, I think Owens already having a title rules him out of the final. I also think it's too soon to give him a Word Championship so for me I think Dean progresses here.

The fact that Owens and Del Rio are already champions mean they won’t win the tournament, which is why this result is only going one way. I don’t think the WWE have any real swerves in place and they have invested a lot in Reigns.

The pressure is on Reigns if he is to go on and win the gold, we know what sort of reception he will get so he will need to learn to deal with that. Reigns will defeat Del Rio on Sunday.

Phillipa: Much like the other semi-final match, I think Del Rio already being United States Champion here means that it is highly unlikely that WWE will give him two championships, especially since he has only just returned to WWE and has already conquered John Cena.

Rollins made history back in September by holding both of these titles so WWE won’t allow Del Rio to do that as well. Reigns has had a really good build and I think he is almost a definite to win and set up a match against his former Shield stablemate.

I think Braun Strowman will definitely be in this match so the WWE can show-off just how dominant he can be. I do believe a more stars should have aided Kane and The Undertaker, but it’s important to understand this event is being built around The Deadman and his 25th anniversary.

I think this feud will continue which means The Wyatt Family will probably take this, even though shenanigans. If Strowman is involved I can see him pick up the win by incapacitating Kane, The Wyatt Family win this one.

Phillipa: Who isn't excited that The Brothers of Destruction are back together? Best thing WWE have done with both Kane and The Undertaker in a very long time.

I hope they finally conquer the Wyatt Family and it is a memorable 25th Survivor Series for The Deadman, but I think WWE have built The Wyatts up so much lately that there is no way The Brothers of Destruction are coming out on top. Wyatt's to win.

An interesting segment took place to close Monday Night Raw this week which was very bold, and very important to this match as well. I do think Paige went a little too far in that segment but if we focus on the match, I think both women will step up.

I believe the fans aren’t fully behind Charlotte yet and she still seems a little green on the main roster, through no fault of her own. The fans need to go on a real journey with Charlotte which is why I believe she needs to chase the champion. I believe Paige will be our new champion.

Phillipa: This rivalry got personal this past week didn't it? I can't think of a more personal feud for a very long time. Paige and Charlotte have had a great rivalry so far and I hope it ends the year so I can't see the title changing hands yet.

Paige is doing well as a heel and really getting over with the fans so I think a loss for her on Sunday could lead to another match at TLC easily. I don't think Paige should become a three-time Divas Champion after just a year on the main roster, I think if Charlotte is to get the respect she deserves then she needs to have a lengthy title reign at the first time of asking.

The final, and I believe it will be contested between Reigns and Ambrose although I wouldn’t be too shocked to see Owens here. I don’t think the match will be anything amazing, but the fans will definitely boo Reigns out of the building.

I just don’t think this is going right down the middle, something will definitely happen in this match. Firstly, I do think Reigns is our new champion but I wouldn’t be shocked to see Reigns or even Ambrose turning heel, maybe Reigns even joins The Authority?

Either that or we see a Sheamus cash-in, this is something the fans will definitely be looking forward to.

Phillipa: This is so obviously going to come down to Ambrose and Reigns and the worst part is that Reigns would be too predictable. I think Ambrose needs to win the title here so that this feud can continue into 2016. Ambrose turning heel would be fantastic but Reigns turning heel would be so much better because the crowd are already giving him heat.

No one really wants him to win the title so a short reign for Ambrose could be the way forward. Of course with Sheamus lurking in the shadows there is nothing definite saying that either of these men will walk out champion.

Roman Reigns
The Undertaker
Dean Ambrose
