Manchester United fans now know all about Anthony Martial the striker, but they still don’t know an awful lot about Anthony Martial the man.
They know the France international possesses a cool, laid-back persona, has a wife and a daughter, and that’s about it.
But that will change today - a little bit, at least - after Foot Locker Europe released a short little interview/promo video with the 19-year-old who burst onto the scene earlier this season.

In the two-minute video, Martial talks about wanting to be a footballer, the Manchester United fans, his goal against Liverpool and much more.
He also reveals the three players who made him want to play football; his three favourite players as a youngster growing up.
Revealed: Martial's three favourite players
“My three favourite players were Ronaldo, the Brazilian, Ronaldinho and Zidane. Because they’re players who were beautiful to watch play and they’re the ones who made me want to play football.”
Martial’s answer is a little surprising considering his age.
Zidane retired from football in 2006 - when Martial was just 11 - while Ronaldo was a spent force by then and Ronaldinho was beginning to lose his appetite for the game.
Three great choices
However, it’s probably worth noting that the internet - YouTube, in particular - now allows youngsters to grow up idolising players of yesteryear. It’s not crucial that they’re around playing at the same time - although it certainly helps to watch these players week-in, week-out.
Still there’s no disputing that Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Zidane were all world-class at their respective peaks - three of the finest footballers of their generation.
Who knows: perhaps the next generation will grow up idolising Anthony Martial.
