With Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney both ruled out of Manchester United’s Premier League clash against Watford on Saturday, Louis van Gaal has named 18-year-old Marcus Rashford in the squad to bolster his attacking options.
This is according to the Manchester Evening News, who understand Sean Goss has also been selected to make up the numbers for the trip to Vicarage Road.
United fans might be a little more familiar with Goss - he was named in the Red Devils’ pre-season tour squad - but who exactly is Marcus Rashford?

Last year, the Manchester-born striker was named as one of 20 academy products - one from each Premier League club - to keep an eye on over the forthcoming years by the Guardian.
Around the same time it was revealed that United faced a battle to keep hold of Rashford who had reportedly caught the attention of Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City.
But over a year later and Rashford remains a Manchester United player - and now he’s closer than ever before to making his professional debut.

Screamer v Wolves
Free-kick v Tottenham
Second-half cameo v Watford is possible...
But what are the chances that United fans will see him against Watford this weekend?
It’s certainly not beyond the realms of possibility that he’ll be handed a few minutes to shine. Van Gaal has confirmed that James Wilson is not fit enough to play 90 minutes, so a second-half cameo certainly isn’t out of the question.
Memphis Depay, however, could start upfront. The Dutchman has flattered to deceive since arriving from PSV Eindhoven in the summer but could be deployed as United’s centre-forward, with Wilson ready to come off the bench as an impact sub.
