Phillipe Coutinho could be fit for Liverpool v Swansea City

Published 1 Comments

It’s safe to say Philippe Coutinho is a fairly important asset to Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, which is why fans are celebrating the news that the Brazilian could be fit to face Swansea City this weekend. Coutinho was believed to have sustained a potentially serious hamstring injury during the win over Man City, but scans have confirmed the news is better than first feared. It’s highly unlikely he’ll take to the field against Bordeaux in the Europa League, but good news all the same. Moving on, Steven Gerrard will play for Liverpool again, but, before anyone gets overly excited, it will be for a ‘Legends’ side next year. Gerrard will feature alongside the likes of Jamie Carragher, Ian Rush and John Arne Riise when a selected XI face off against an Australian legends team for charity.
