Manchester United fans, hello and welcome back.

Another day, another round-up tailored specifically to meet your needs. You can thank us later (seriously, there’s a comments box provided at the bottom).

Read on below for the latest news or watch the video above for the breaking headlines. Enjoy, you classy crowd of people.

Ronaldo retirement

He may have been jeered during Real Madrid’s 4-0 thumping at the hands of Barcelona, but Cristiano Ronaldo won’t be leaving Spain anytime soon.

That’s the latest from his agent, Jorge Mendes, who described Ronaldo departing Real as ‘impossible’, despite there having been interest supposedly registered from both Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

"It's impossible," Mendes said.

"He will end his career at Real Madrid."

He hasn’t been at his best this term, but the consensus is that he’s still good enough for Los Blancos.

Meulensteen on Lingard

Meanwhile, former United assistant Rene Meulensteen has compared Jesse Lingard to Andres Iniesta.

As hyperbolic as it may seem, Muelensteen said Lingard could be the English version of the World Cup winning Spaniard. We’ll see about that one, Rene.

Powell's return

Lastly, Nick Powell made his long-awaited return for the club via the Under-21s last night and footage of his endeavours has been edited together.

The 21-year-old - recently reported as having lost interest in football - made his first appearance for the U21s in nine months.

Powell compilation

He might not have wowed fans, but his showing was certainly impressive for a man on the brink of leaving the game altogether.
