Goldust made a shocking unannounced comeback at WWE Survivor Series this Sunday night.

The popular veteran was the last superstar to appear in the warm-up match shown live on the WWE Network, which was a five on five tag team elimination match. Goldust made a strong return, teaming up with the Dudley Boyz, Neville and Titus O’Neill to defeat the Cosmic Wasteland (Stardust and the Ascension), The Miz and Bo Dallas.

The Bizarre One was last seen in the ring in March in a losing effort to Rusev, following this he obtained a shoulder injury which required surgery, sidelining him for months.Goldust managed two pins in the match, eliminating Viktor and The Miz, and was a survivor in his team’s victory. Following his return, we can only ask, what's next?

The likely direction that The Bizarre One will take will be to start a feud with the Cosmic Wasteland.

Stardust and Goldust, famously half-brothers in real life, feuded prior to Goldust’s lengthy injury. A rivalry with them now would be fresh, considering Goldust has been away for so long and that Stardust now leads his own stable.

In addition to this, Cesaro, who Stardust appeared to be beginning some form of rivalry with, has reportedly been injured. The Bizarre One's return makes him an ideal if not the perfect candidate to replace Cesaro in a program with Stardust.

Goldust looks to be in amazing shape, and it is nice to see. At 46-years-old, he could pass for someone ten years his junior. However at that age, this is sure to be his final run in the WWE. Let us hope Goldust gets the send off he well and truly deserves.
