Luis Enrique's side were in no mood to slow down after previously humiliating rivals Real Madrid on Saturday.

Neymar, who has been in magnificent form in recent months, may not have found the back of the net on this occasion, but he did produce something out of the ordinary.

In fact, Brazil's talisman even missed a penalty kick, but the Barcelona faithful will probably forgive him.

Brilliant Neymar

Out on the left-hand side of the pitch, Neymar produced a mesmerising piece of skill as he placed his right foot behind his left leg to control the ball with precision.

Unsurprisingly, it didn't stop there: the aforementioned Brazilian combined with Suarez and Messi, with the latter finding the back of the net in front of the home faithful.

Team to beat

No team has ever successfully defended their Champions League crown, but Barcelona may well make history this season. With the unpredictable trio of Neymar, Messi and Suarez in their ranks, they are going to take some stopping once again.
