If you’re a Manchester United fan take heart, with Spanish reports suggesting Sir Alex Ferguson wants to play his part in luring the forward back to Old Trafford. That’s right, Marca claims the wily old Scot still believes Ronaldo could have a significant impact on United’s fortunes. PSG are interested in him as well though Moving on, Paul Scholes has admitted he expected more from Bastian Schweinsteiger this year, following the German’s relatively slow start to the campaign. Scholes criticised Schweinsteiger’s handling of the ball - he’s just about the only man alive who can get away with doing that.
