Football News

Slightly better week for me in Week 11 with seven out of 14 results correct, not that it could have got much worse than Week 10. It has been a tough season for predictions so far with some almost unimaginable results occurring, it is bad for my predictions but great for entertainment.

The NFL teams I have picked to come out of week 12 victorious are in bold, I'm looking forward to this weeks matchups with three fantastic games on thanksgiving. Please comment with your own predictions as well as letting me know what you think of mine.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Detroit Lions

The Lions look to have turned a corner with two wins from the last two weeks against good opposition whilst the Eagles have suffered two defeats in the last two weeks so a more confident Lions side at home should have enough to make it 3 in a row.

Carolina Panthers @ Dallas Cowboys

Romo was back to lead the Cowboys to a much-needed win against the Dolphins in Week 11, but despite their fans confidence that they will make the Super Bowl now Romo is back I don't agree with and I don't expect them to overcome this Panthers team currently crushing everyone they come up against.

Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers

The Packers got back to winning ways in Week 11 after three losses on the bounce and with them hosting the Bears on thanksgiving they should add another W to their tally for the season.

New Orleans Saints @ Houston Texans

The Texans have found some much-needed form in the last few weeks and they welcome a Saints side struggling to put any form together, this should be a formality with a Texan's win.

St. Louis Rams @ Cincinnati Bengals

Both sides are coming off the back of disappointing losses so it will be a case of who bounces back best, the Bengals have more to lose after impressing right from the start and I expect them to get back to winning ways at the expense of the Rams.

Minnesota Vikings @ Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons just can't seem to get it together this season and they don't have the best record against the Vikings who will be looking to put their loss to the Packers behind him.

New York Giants  @ Washington Redskins

This is the battle of the two teams leading the NFC East making it a must-win game for both sides, Giants had a bye in Week 11 which should have given the whole offense time to work on their penetration.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Indianapolis Colts

I thought long and hard about this one, but I've picked the Buccaneers despite the Colts having home field advantage, Tampa Bay have impressed me immensely in the last few weeks with their attacking prowess and whether they are away or not doesn't seem to affect their play this season.

Buffalo Bills @ Kansas City Chiefs

If the Chiefs defense can perform as well as they did in the couple of matches before this week they should have no trouble overcoming the Bills.

Oakland Raiders @ Tennessee Titans

The Raiders have been on a bit of a losing run the last few weeks but they visit a Titan side propping up the bottom of the AFC South so this should be a win on he road for a team in need of a confidence boost.

San Diego Chargers @ Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars should make it three in a row this week when they welcome the Chargers who cannot buy a win right now.

Miami Dolphins @ New York Jets

It has been an up and down season for both these sides, but the Jets have the better team so they should come out of this division game victorious.

Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco 49ers

Easiest game for me to call this week, the Cardinals are on a rich run of form that I can't see a struggling 49ers side stopping this week.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Seattle Seahawks

The Steelers are likely to be missing Big Ben and without him a visit to the Seahawks is going to be Unwinnable in my opinion.

New England Patriots @ Denver Broncos

The Broncos are fantastic at home and have the best defense in the league, but that won't be enough to stop the Patriot train rolling through.

Baltimore Ravens @ Cleveland Browns

The Ravens will make it back to wins this week when they arrive in Cleveland to face a struggling and defeated Browns sides.

So there we have it this is how I think game week eleven in the NFL will play out, I expect a better week for my predictions this time out. Enjoy Game week twelve and check back here for my predictions in Game week thirteen.

Carolina Panthers
Green Bay Packers
Dallas Cowboys
New England Patriots
