WWE round-up: Brad Maddox fired for saying 'cheeky p****s' at SmackDown taping

Published 4 Comments

Brad Maddox has been released from the WWE after appearing to slander the crowd at the Smackdown taping earlier this week. Reports all concur that Maddox has indeed been let go by the organisation, though the reason remains yet unconfirmed. It’s said the 31-year-old’s decision to say ‘cocky pricks’ during a pre-match promo on Tuesday has cost him dearly, with chiefs of the organisation not happy with his terminology. In injury news, Randy Orton could be missing for as long as a year, according to new reports providing an update on his struggles. It’s believed Orton might now require neck fusion surgery - we don’t think that’s half as dangerous as it sounds - which, along with his shoulder op, could leave him out for another 12 months. We’ll have updates as and when.
