Brock Lesnar isn't expected to appear on Raw until the new year, but he could be making an appearance on WWE programming before then.

The Beast was scheduled to be part of a WWE live show on December 19, which would be his first appearance in a WWE ring since the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view win against The Undertaker. However, as of writing this article, it will not be a televised event, although never say never when it comes to the WWE.

If it isn't televised, NoDQ has said Lesnar could still make a TV appearance before the end of the year at the WWE's Slammy Awards on December 21, but this hasn't been confirmed either.

The report said: "The event is being held in Minneapolis, which is where Lesnar is from and he usually appears on WWE programming when RAW is being held in the city. This edition of RAW will be a Slammy Awards-themed show."

The Beast could be involved in the award ceremony itself, either giving out a certain award or as an award winner, or something else entirely. His presence should be welcomed with open arms by the WWE.

The company is lacking a big heel star on the roster. Sheamus is trying to fill that role, but like it or not, he isn't a top heel. Midcard at best. Kevin Owens could eventually fill that spot, but as of right now, there isn't a top heel on the roster.

We may have to last with The Celtic Warrior as champion until the Royal Rumble, as WrestleMania season begins by then, and hopefully Lesnar is back appearing on Raw every week or at least every other week.
