Jurgen Klopp burns journalist with brilliant Simon Mignolet joke

Jurgen Klopp has to be one of the most entertaining managers around - and he certainly didn't disappoint in his post-match press conference tonight.

The German boss was fielding questions after watching his side claim a 2-1 win over Bordeaux, which means the Reds have secured their spot in the final 32 of the Europa League.

It wasn't all plain sailing though - Liverpool fell behind after goalkeeper Simon Mignolet bizarrely gave away a free-kick inside his own area, which Henri Saviet slammed home after 33 minutes. Luckily for the Belgian, James Milner and Christian Benteke were on hand to secure the win and ensure Liverpool's progression, meaning Klopp was in a good mood afterwards.

Sadly for one journalist, Klopp's willingness to have a laugh with the press meant he had to be the butt of the joke. When handed the floor to ask a question, the unnamed reported took a little longer than the former Borussia Dortmund boss expected.

Without missing a beat, Klopp responded: "You wait almost as long as Simon Mignolet taking a kick".

Liverpool fans have been enjoying Klopp's antics - which range from slapping his own players to starting arguments with members of Chelsea's bench - oh, and also winning games.

So far the Reds have lost just one game under Klopp, against Crystal Palace in the Premier League, since he took over from former boss Brendan Rodgers.

The Anfield faithful will be hoping the good times last for the rest of the season, with Swansea the next team up at the weekend.

Do you think Klopp can guide Liverpool into the top four this season?
