It is rumored that a WWE Hall of Famer will be appearing later tonight on Monday Night Raw.

According to PWInsider, via Wrestling Inc, Ric Flair will be on the show later this evening which is being held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The report mentioned that it is unclear what kind of role the WWE Hall of Famer will have on the show tonight, but it is likely he will be involved in the Charlotte vs Paige angle, as he is the father of the current Divas Champion.

This angle is quite personal to Flair, as it is elevated to new heights before Survivor Series a couple of weeks ago.

During the Divas Championship contract signing a couple of weeks ago, the show closed with Paige bringing up Charlotte's deceased brother Reid. A controversial angle, which many fans thought was in bad taste and added the wrong kind of heat to the angle.

The WWE Hall of Famer said on his podcast that when he watched the angle unfold on Raw, he didn't know that the statement about Reid was coming, and that he cried once he heard it.

The only other reason why the WWE might bring Flair onto the show is to boost ratings, which have not been very good recently. However, as seen already several times this year, guest appearances haven't exactly been a guarantee to make more people watch.

The only hope is that the WWE doesn't make them talk about Reid again just for a little bit of heat, as that is just bad taste and it isn't going to encourage more people to watch the angle.
