Thierry Henry criticises decision for Arsenal to play Alexis Sanchez

After the 1-1 draw with Norwich City spirits are hardly in the sky at Arsenal. One of the most combustible elements of the disappointment is the injury picked up by Alexis Sanchez, who limped off clutching the back of his leg in the 57th minute. A hamstring injury looks to have been the problem, with the Chile international having been a doubt for the game beforehand anyway. To make matters worse, Thierry Henry has weighed in on the subject and believes Arsene Wenger made a mistake playing him. Henry said he sympathised with Wenger’s position, but that doesn’t really make things better. Elsewhere, Wenger himself has revealed he fears Sanchez is more injured than he’s letting on. The Frenchman said Sanchez had described the worry as a ‘kick to his hamstring’, but that it could be more severe than first thought.
