This year the WWE Universe have witnessed some fantastic feud which have culminated in great matches, but on the flip side they have had to sit through some pointless feuds.
The pointless feuds that have taken place have been extremely underwhelming and have often led to no conclusion or anything that would want to make the fans tune in next week to see what happens.
Some of the bad feuds usually have had good build-up which is often ruined by the culmination of a feud, such as a bad ending or a below average match. Here are what I think are the worst feuds that have taken place this year.

DOLPH ZIGGLER VS. RUSEV
There were high hopes for the Dolph Ziggler and Rusev feud as both men were incredibly talented inside of the ring and on the microphone, but it’s no secret this feud fell flat.
You have to give credit to Rusev and Summer Rae as they really shine din the feud, but it didn’t really go anywhere as Lana didn’t look comfortable and Ziggler looked weak. This showed us Rusev can be something more than an anti-American heel and that’s a key positive we took from this feud.
Other than that this feud was pointless. It didn’t lead anywhere and it definitely held them back more than anything else. Thankfully the feud came to an end in strange circumstances when Lana announced her engagement to Rusev.
Although she’ll have to face the repercussions, it was great for the fans who didn’t need to witness any more of it.
BROCK LESNAR VS. ROMAN REIGNS
The Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns feud is one I believe failed to live up to the potential. We had the Royal Rumble winner taking on the champion that had conquered the streak a year earlier, but it didn’t feel that way.
Lesnar not being there every week definitely had an effect on the feud as Reigns – who is already average on the microphone – had to help Paul Heyman carry this feud. All in all, it just didn’t feel like the build-up you expect from a WrestleMania main event.
To make matters worse, the final face-off before their main event saw them both have a tug-of-war with the championship belt, not something you expect from such a huge main event.
SETH ROLLINS VS. DEMON KANE
The feud between Seth Rollins and the Demon Kane was one mainly for the children, as they definitely tried to insult the intelligence of the WWE Universe with Kane playing a double role.
Of course, it was a bit of fun but I felt the timing wasn’t the best to do this. The fact the fans were already upset with Rollins’ title reign meant they knew there was no chance in hell Rollins was going to drop the championship to Kane.
It all felt too predictable and it was definitely clear that this was just a filler before Rollins moved on to something bigger and better.
SHEAMUS VS. DOLPH ZIGGLER
Another feud which didn’t really go anywhere. This was one of the first feuds Sheamus took part in when he returned and a lot was expected from this as both are solid workers.
Instead of pure brutality from Sheamus and Ziggler firing up the fans we saw one kissing the other’s ‘arse’. That’s what the entire feud was built around which seemed pointless and it really had the fans disinterested because it was doing nothing for their characters.
It’s strange to see how far they’ve come from that terrible feud, one has gone on to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion while the other is still fighting to stay relevant.
