Sanchez and Cazorla create double blow

If you’re an Arsenal fan it’s probably for the best that you stay away from the back pages of The Sun today, with it claimed in the publication that both Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla could be missing for the entirety of the Christmas period.

Both men suffered injuries during the draw with Norwich and - this depends on how much faith you place in The Sun - it’s said they could be unavailable for the Boxing Day fixture against Southampton and the match against Bournemouth two days later.

Wenger confirms Coman approach in 2014

Moving on, Arsene Wenger has confirmed he tried to sign Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman in 2014, only for him to choose Juventus.

The winger failed to settle at Juve before moving to Bavaria - and to think what could have been in north London had he placed his faith in Arsene.

Ospina flirts with exit

Meanwhile, David Ospina has supposedly flirted with an exit from north London in favour of Turkish side Besiktas, using his Twitter account to ‘like’ a series of tweets aimed at him from fans of the latter club.

The goalkeeper has been firmly behind Petr Cech in the Emirates Stadium pecking order - as was to be expected - and liked the following tweets. Perhaps he’s hinting that his future lies away from Wenger’s fold?
