Owens illness revealed
It was quite the surprise when Kevin Owens didn’t feature on Monday Night Raw this week, with fans expressing unhappiness at his absence.
It’s now been revealed just why he wasn’t part of the proceedings, with Wrestling Inc claiming that he was sent home after falling ill before the show.
"Owens was sent home on Monday after he and his son, who was traveling with him this week, came down with an illness," Wrestling Inc write.
"Unless something changed, Owens will not be working tonight's SmackDown tapings but is expected back next week to continue his TLC feud with Dean Ambrose."
The Canadian is still expected to put his Intercontinental Championship on the line and face Dean Ambrose at the TLC pay-per-view in a little over a week’s time, so there are no worries there.
Owens v Lesnar could feature at WrestleMania 32
Meanwhile, more on Owens, with it said that a match between himself and Brock Lesnar is being considered for WrestleMania 32.
The WWE roster is getting thinner with every big injury they suffer - that could hand Owens his first WrestleMania appearance.
