Youngster Jordon Ibe also netted for Klopp's side, who will now believe that they can secure the trophy under his regime.

And here are the best tweets from this evening's clash:

Klopp impact

Klopp's impact at Liverpool has been truly outstanding. The Merseyside outfit really are a team full of confidence and have a great chance of securing success sooner rather than later.

The Reds are playing some brilliant stuff and are looking a lot tighter at the back. They have a decent run ahead of them in December, too, so there's no reason why they won't be able to climb the table.

A trophy this season would be ideal for all at the club, so they will be desperate to make it to the final of the cup competition.
