Gary Cahill signs new four-year Chelsea contract

Published 1 Comments

He’s fast approaching 30, but that hasn’t stopped Gary Cahill from pledging his long-term future to Chelsea by way of signing a new four-year deal. The England international has seemingly looked to get around the Blues’ one-year deal policy for over 30s by committing now rather than waiting around. With his previous contract having been set to expire at the end of next season it looks to be a smart move. Cahill said he was pleased Chelsea had put their faith in him. Moving on, Inter Milan are preparing a contract offer of their own for Branislav Ivanovic, or so say reports. It’s purported that the Italian outfit want to take advantage of the fact that the Serbian can talk to new clubs in the New Year.
