Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been spotted leaving a London nightclub in the early hours of Thursday morning - just two days before his side take on Premier League strugglers Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.

The enigmatic Spain international has endured a tricky time in west London recently and was dropped for the Blues' last match against rivals Tottenham.

As reported by The Sun, the former Atletico Madrid ace could be embroiled in yet another dispute with boss Jose Mourinho after being photographed at 3.15am.

As well as Costa, the Brazilian duo of Ramires and Kenedy were also out and about on the streets of London early this morning.

It now remains to be seen as to whether Costa will be handed a recall for this weekend's match, but he certainly hasn't done himself any favours.

Get your head down, Diego

It's just one night out, of course, but Costa should probably think twice before heading out on the town right now. With Chelsea struggling in the Premier League, the 27-year-old has failed to produce the goods throughout the course of the season so far.

With just three league goals this term, it was only a matter of time before Mourinho opted to axe him from his starting XI. But this is no way for Costa to respond. He should be working hard on the training ground in pursuit of reclaiming his place back in the side.

One thing is for sure, if Mourinho does select Costa this weekend, all eyes will be firmly fixated on him.
