United interested in Oxford

Manchester United fans expecting to see January additions, you’re in luck - the pre-winter transfer window rumour mill is in full swing.

An exclusive in The Times today claims that Louis van Gaal is preparing an £8million offer for West Ham starlet Reece Oxford - you might remember him from when he pulled apart Arsenal about a week before getting his GCSE’s earlier this year.

Coincidentally, Arsenal are also interested, but United are aiming to get the jump on them by trying to persuade West Ham to do a deal next month.

Neville's mistake - Keys

Moving on, Gary Neville made a mistake by signing a short-term deal with Valencia, according to Richard Keys.

Keys said it could have an adverse effect on the atmosphere at the Mestalla as players won’t be worried about falling out with him because he’ll be gone before too long.

Ince sceptical on Herrara

Meanwhile, former United midfielder Paul Ince has stated his belief that Ander Herrera doesn’t fit well at Manchester United because he isn’t right for the Premier League.

Ince said he wasn’t sure that the diminutive midfielder would ever be a regular for Van Gaal’s side, suggesting that it’s hard for him to fit in as he’s far more suited to the Spanish game.

It seems a fair few fans disagree:

Manchester United
