Kevin Owens and Sheamus have had a highly documented exchange on Twitter this week, leading to the speculation that Owens could be set to join The League of Nations.
Owens missed Raw last week through injury and it was rumored that The New Day took his place in the main event when they came out and partnered The League to make it a seven on four handicap match.
OWENS NEEDS TO BE ALONE
Since his debut on the WWE main roster, Owens has revolutionized what it is to be a heel in WWE and, in doing so, has gained himself a lot of popularity in various parts of the WWE Universe.

Many state that it is hard to dislike Kevin Owens when he explains that everything he does is for his family and regularly says what the WWE crowd are thinking, whilst it's also hard to love a man that doesn't care about the WWE Universe and regularly reiterates this point.
The fact that Owens can't be put into one of the companies overused categories has gained him a lot more popularity than most current face superstars. And it is for this reason that Owens can't join The League of Nations. He needs to be in the middle of both of the teams and allowed to say exactly what the fans are thinking.
OWENS WASN'T MADE TO FIT IN
The current Intercontinental Champion is the only male champion on WWE's main roster that has not pledged his allegiance to the League of Nations, and his recent Twitter exchange with World Champion Sheamus looks like to could be heading for a confrontation.
Sheamus told him that the IC title would be in The League of Nations sooner or later before telling him to sign-up or give-up before Owens then asked if he was telling him to join.
Of course Owens being the character he is on social media, he didn't ask politely and this has now left an air of uncertainty surrounding his future.
There are already seven people in The League of Nations, there doesn't seem to be a reason to add more and with the likes of Rusev, Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus already members, how will Owens continue to stand out?
It's the wrong decision for the Canadian star to join a stable like this so soon, he needs to continue to be the cocky, opinionated character that he is alone and let the League make their own enemies.
