Carlo Ancelotti confirms he would be interested in Manchester United job

With the frequency of the reports floating around you’d be forgiven for thinking Manchester United had no manager at the moment. Pep Guardiola, Carlo Ancelotti and even Gary Neville have been linked with replacing Louis van Gaal of late, and it appears that at least one of them is certainly interested. Former Chelsea boss Ancelotti has confirmed he would consider taking over at Old Trafford, stating that ‘any manager would be interested’. He also said he’s willing to wait for the right project to come along. Now, his rise to fame has become the stuff of legend, and even Sir Alex Ferguson has had his say on Jamie Vardy. The ex-United boss hailed the Leicester star as having all the assets needed for modern day football. No, that’s not proof that the Red Devils are going to try and sign him.
