Klopp's aid for Monchengladbach

Jurgen Klopp’s practically worked wonders for Liverpool since taking charge at Anfield, but it would appear that he’s been of use to at least one other club as well.

Reports emanating from German publication Bild say the 48-year-old has been advising Borussia Monchengladbach on how to beat Manchester City in the Champions League tonight.

Klopp apparently sent texts and made a phone call to Monchengladbach manager Andre Schubert to offer his aid.

We’ll wait to see how that one pans out. Don’t be surprised to see Klopp getting plaudits if Monchengladbach steal the points.

Carragher trolls Bellamy

Meanwhile, Monday Night Football welcomed Gary Neville’s replacement last night - former Liverpool ace Craig Bellamy.

Jamie Carragher was quick to launch a jibe at the Welshman, stating that Sky had hired the only man more hated than Neville.

The internet certainly appeared to like that one.

Aldridge on Firmino

Lastly, Kop hero John Aldridge had something negative to say about Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino’s performance during the 2-0 loss to Newcastle United.

Aldridge revealed his belief that there is ‘something wrong’ with Firmino, backing up his claim by suggesting he hadn’t done nearly enough to adequately support Christian Benteke.
