LeBron secures Nike deal

It’s the latest achievement in what’s already an incredibly accomplished career - LeBron James has signed a lifetime agreement with sports giants Nike.

The Cleveland Cavaliers star has apparently become the first athlete to put pen to paper on a lifetime deal with the company - a spokesperson from the organisation refused to confirm a fee.

Sources have claimed it dwarves the 10-year, $300m deal Kevin Durant signed last summer, we’ll get more on the details as and when they come through.

Nowitzki praises Porzingis

Elsewhere, Dirk Nowitzki has tipped Kristaps Porzingis for big things in the future, claiming that the youngster is better than he was at 20-years-old.

The 7ft 3in power forward has caused quite the stir in the NBA this year as a rookie, but some are questioning whether or not he is destined to become a household name.

Nowitzki said that ‘he’s for real’, which should be enough to satisfy many would-be critics.

We'd be inclined to agree:

Bryant's Cowboys strop

In the NFL, Dez Bryant offered the full experience last night as the Cowboys beat the Washington Redskins 19-16.

Bryant threw a strop mid-way through the match, aiming frustrations at Matt Cassel after the QB chose to throw to Cole Beasley instead.

He later calmed down and was instrumental in Dallas performing a late turnaround.

Bon Jovi linked with Titans buyout

Meanwhile, incredible reports are suggesting that Jon Bon Jovi could be amongst those who try to buy the Tennessee Titans if they go up for sale.

With the passing of long-time owner Bud Adams, the franchise has been involved with speculation concerning a takeover bid from elsewhere.

Bon Jovi tried and failed to acquire the Buffalo Bills; might he have more luck with the Titans?

The man himself had this to say:

Cleveland Cavaliers
Central Division
Eastern Conference
LeBron James
Kobe Bryant
L.A. Lakers
