The LA Clippers are well aware that they need to improve their roster if they’re to sufficiently compete with the likes of Golden State and San Antonio, and reports are claiming they’re already considering trades to take them up to that level. Yahoo Sport say they’ve been told by league sources that the Clippers gauged trade interest in both Lance Stephenson and Josh Smith last month. Both have struggled to excel under Doc Rivers having been picked up this year - we’ll have more as we get it In the NFL, meanwhile, Shaq Lawson of Clemson University has confirmed he will bypass his senior year and enter into the 2016 NFL Draft. The 6ft 3, 270-pound defensive end said it had been a difficult decision, but that he was ready for the next level.
