However, following the German manager's arrival and an injury to Sakho, Lovren has been handed a lifeline. One that he taken with both hands.
Good performances in games against Crystal Palace, Manchester City and Swansea City have earnt him a nomination for the Barclays' Player of the Month, and some people just can't believe it.

After a slow start to the season, Harry Kane is back and scored four goals in as many games during November. He scored the opener against Arsenal and bagged a brace in the 4-1 win over West Ham, to go with his strike against Aston Villa.
The Watford forward has found his goalscoring boots after failing to find the net in his first nine Premier League matches. He scored three goals in as many games, including a header in the 3-2 away win over Aston Villa.
