Subotic transfer claim
Liverpool fans will have all heard rumours regarding Neven Subotic and the January transfer window, and it looks as though the speculation has just been taken up a notch.
German publication Bild - as relayed by the Mirror - now say Jurgen Klopp has a 60% chance of luring the Serbian defender to Anfield next month with it estimated that he will cost about £3.5million.
Subotic played under Klopp for seven years during the latter’s time in charge of Dortmund - at that price he’s a relative bargain.
New contracts given
Meanwhile, new contracts have been issued to Merseyside youngsters Connor Randall and Ryan Fulton.
That’s according to Liverpool’s official website, that confirms both players are set to be given the chance to establish themselves in Klopp’s plans for the future.
Klopp talks Sturridge
Lastly, Klopp has opened up once more on Daniel Sturridge’s injury problems following the announcement that the England international is set for further time out with a hamstring injury.
The German coach said Liverpool would have to work with Sturridge to build up his resistance moving forward. The latest blow is yet another blip on the former Chelsea ace’s medical records.
