New fight added to TLC pay-per-view

It’s late in the day, but the WWE are still adding matches to this Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view. On last night’s SmackDown, it was confirmed that Ryback v Rusev has been added to the weekend’s bill, with the pair having featured on both of the most recent two episodes of Monday Night Raw.

As it stands there are six other matches on the card, including Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger for the United States Championship, and Sheamus v Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Title.

Punk called out by Howard

Elsewhere, ex-WWE star CM Punk has been called out by another UFC fighter. This time, it’s John ‘Doomsday’ Howard.

Howard told Sports Illustrated that he wanted to fight Punk, real name Phil Brooks, to gauge whether he belonged in the UFC or not.

Punk has yet to make his debut in the Octagon, but there’s sure to be plenty of buzz when he eventually makes his bow for Dana White.

Lesnar to face Del Rio?

Lastly, speculation insists that Brock Lesnar’s next opponent has been unveiled as none other than Alberto Del Rio, with it rumoured a match between the two could take place at the Network special on December 19.

Apparently, an email sent out by the WWE included details of Lesnar’s next outing in the ring - it says specifically that The Beast is to go ‘one on one with United States Champion Alberto Del Rio.'
