Triple H explains why Finn Balor hasn't been called up during injury crisis

WWE has been stricken by a shed of bad luck recently, with many of their superstars picking up injuries during a time while others were on scheduled breaks.

Spots became available on the roster and many thought the WWE would call-up stars from NXT to fill up the places. However, only Tyler Breeze has made the jump so far from the developmental division to the main roster.

Members of the WWE Universe had hoped current NXT Champion Finn Balor would make the jump or, at least, some appearances on the main roster shows, but that hasn't been the case. Triple H explained why this is so during a conference call regarding the NXT TakeOver: London special, according to SEScoops.com, via NoDQ.

He said: “The thing that I hate doing is, ‘Well, there’s a lot of injuries right now, so we’re going to pull this guy up,’ but then the injured guys will come back and then we’re not sure what we’ll do – now we have too many guys for the space.

“I hate taking a guy as talented as Finn Balor and saying, ‘You’re the band-aid to hold us over until all these other guys come back and then we’ll see from there.’ If we don’t have that gameplan for when we call these guys up, especially for a Finn Balor, then it’s not the right time.

"You need to have something in your mind, and hopefully a long-term plan in place that gets them to where you want them to be. At least that would be the goal for me when guys come up.”

Many fans will appreciate that Triple H made what appears to be the right call because Balor is one of the most promising stars WWE has to its disposal in the NXT division. They need to utilize his push on the main roster correctly. He can't just be a filler until another established main roster star returns.

What we know is when Balor is finally called up to the main roster, it will be because the time is right, and Triple H has the perfect plan and feud for him. At least it won't be rushed, which is sure to bring delight to fans.
