German pair Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker teamed up to face their Arsenal teammates Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny in a game of footpool.

It was Germany vs. France at the Gunners' training ground and the competitive side of the players soon came out in this battle of two European giants.

Mertesacker, in particular, produced some lovely footwork, Ozil, unsurprisingly, was the king of assists and there were trick shots galore in this highly entertaining video. (scroll down the page and watch the video to see who won)

Frank Lampard echoed those concerns on Monday Night Football and the game against City will be a real test of his credentials in the central position.

If he is not at his best, the Etihad outfit have a squad capable of punishing that weakness.
