Football News

Chelsea fans, good morning.

Christmas fast approaches and beyond that the January transfer window. It’s safe to say we’ve got no shortage of breaking news and rumours.

With that in mind, prepare to enjoy the very best the mainstream media have produced today. We’ve done our best to keep it credible. Read on for more.

Hazard sale possible?

The cauldron of disaster is steadily bubbling away at Chelsea and the cooks of despair continue to add flavour to the mix.

The latest is that Blues players are angry with Diego Costa for throwing his bib at Jose Mourinho and, coming from The Sun, that the Special One could consider letting Eden Hazard go in the future if the midfielder doesn’t improve his form.

With no goals in the Premier League this term and only two assists, the Player of the Year is looking a shadow of his former self.

Would you sell him? Let us know your thoughts in the comments box below.

Mourinho warning

Elsewhere, Mourinho sent a warning to his players on mass after the loss to Leicester, telling them he should have sold a number of the group in the summer.

That’s according to the Mirror, so no confirmation, but we’re ready to accept that he’s pretty angry given the state of affairs he finds himself in.

Ramos in line for caretaker role?

Lastly, an incredible exclusive from The Times is today claiming that former Tottenham Hotspur boss Juande Ramos could be ushered in as interim Stamford Bridge manager if Mourinho is axed.

The Spaniard has been without a club since leaving Ukranian club Dnipro in 2014 and would certainly raise eyebrows were he appointed.

Needless to say, we’re sceptical.
