With Christmas Day on the horizon, the West Ham United faithful are most definitely in the festive spirit after a fine opening half of the season.

Under the guidance of Slaven Bilic, the Hammers are flying high in eighth place in the Premier League - above the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton.

Unsurprisingly, then, fans of the team have something to cheer during the holiday season. In fact, eToro - a sponsor of the club - have re-written the '12 days of Christmas' song and added a fabulous West Ham twist to it.

As well as singing about a number of their star players, including Andy Carroll, Adrian and Dimitri Payet, fans fondly highlighted some of their standout moments of the campaign.

From the club's 3-0 win at Anfield to their 2-1 victory over Manchester City, Bilic's side have produced a number of memorable results this season, so it's not surprising that these matches have once again come to prominence.

Singing in Swansea

In fact, during the club's stalemate against Swansea City on Sunday afternoon, the travelling support were heard singing the song throughout proceedings.

The Hammers may well have missed out on securing all three points at the Liberty Stadium, but their fans would have departed South Wales feeling very Christmassy indeed.

Fans of The Irons will no doubt be gearing up to sing their hearts out once again at Villa Park on Boxing Day.
