John Cena to return on next week's RAW

Football News

It seems like a long time has passed since Alberto Del Rio made his big return to the WWE at Hell in a Cell.

Del Rio re-emerged to challenge then US Champion John Cena for the title, only to win and mean that we wouldn't see Cena until the very end of 2015.

The Champ is back

Cena hasn't been seen on WWE TV since his loss at Hell in a Cell but it was confirmed on tonight's show that his return is imminent.

On what will be the final episode of RAW of 2015, Cena will be making his return to action against the very man that took his United States Championship.

Now a very firm member of the League of Nations, Del Rio has a lot of back up who will surely be in his corner against Cena.

When the match was advertised tonight, there seemed to be no indication that the US Title will be on the line, but a title match should be guaranteed.

Cena has his rematch clause still to be fulfilled so it now appears that Cena and Del Rio could be on a collision course for next month's Royal Rumble.

With Del Rio being a member of the League of Nations, could they form the next faction that Cena will be going head to head with.

With the likes of Roman Reigns and even Ryback also having issues with the League, Cena surely won't struggle to find partners in his battle with the new faction.

All the way to Mania?

Is it possible that we will be seeing another showdown between Alberto Del Rio and John Cena at WrestleMania?

While it is possible, it would surely be better to see an angle that includes all the members of the League of Nations.
