Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez loves playing football and doesn’t cope too well when he’s out injured.

The Mirror reported earlier this week that Sanchez wants to start every single game - even after flying back from international duty - throws strops when substituted and stays behind on the training pitch for at least an hour after everyone else has gone home.

So, after he suffered a setback in his recovery process following a hamstring injury earlier this week, perhaps it shouldn’t come as a surprise to discover the Chile international has uploaded a hilariously weird video to Instagram. (Scroll down this page to watch it).

Alexis can be seen standing on a sunny field somewhere with his two dogs, staring wistfully into the camera - which we imagine to be his phone, propped up by a selfie stick - as ‘Another Day in Paradise’ by Phil Collins plays in the background.

The South American, blissfully unaware of the reaction he was about to receive in the comments section on his Instagram post, wrote in the caption: “🐶🐶🚶🏻😀🎄☀️ good day with atom and humber 🇬🇧”

Arsenal fans react

Needless to say, there’s one emoji that features more than most in the comments - and that’s this one ‘😂’.

For the sake of Alexis Sanchez’s health, we hope he’s back playing football again soon.
