To say Steph Curry has had a good 2015 would be an understatement.

Over the past 12 months, the Golden State Warriors star has risen from an exciting talent heralded in the Bay Area to arguably the biggest name in the NBA right now - winning his first Larry O'Brien Trophy along the way to boot.

So, with the year drawing to a close, let's take a look at Curry's top five moments of 2015.

5) Circus shot vs Memphis Grizzlies - November 11

Steph Curry is loved because he does things no other NBA player can, or even contemplates. A prime example of this came against the Grizzlies back in November when, having evaded several Memphis players and stumbling towards the three-point line, Curry threw up a speculative one-handed shot. We say speculative; for Curry it was never in doubt.

4) CP3 crossover - March 31

When Steph Curry gets going, there are very few players who can stop him - a fact Clippers star Chris Paul found out back in March. CP3 was put on skates by Curry courtesy of a couple of behind-the-back crossovers. The play sent the internet into meltdown and, of course, it was finished with a clean basket.

3) Clutch shot vs Pelicans in Round One of the playoffs - April 23

Having finished the 2014-15 regular season with a 67-15 record, Golden State were expected to cruise past the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round. And, whilst they ultimately did that with a 4-0 sweep, it could have been very different had it not been for Steph Curry's clutch shot to force overtime in Game Three. A star player has to step up when it really matters, and Curry did just that in April.

2) 53 points vs Pelicans - October 31

To start the season, Golden State and Curry were on unstoppable form. Going 24-0 to break NBA records, anything the point guard and his teammates touched turned to a W. Although we could include virtually every one of the reigning MVP's games in this span, his season-high 53 against New Orleans sums up the level of his game right now.

1) Winning his first NBA title - June 16

For every NBA record, clutch play and circus shot, the one thing an NBA superstar really wants is an NBA title. As such, there can be no better moment in Steph Curry's 2015 than the one that saw him get his hands on the Larry O'Brien Trophy. The Cavaliers did their best to limit his influence on the Finals, but he and Golden State were simply unstoppable.

It is hard to find any other athlete, across any other sport who has enjoyed a better 12 months than Curry. The frightening thing for his opponents? You wouldn't bet against him taking things up a level in 2016.
