Memphis Depay has endured a tricky start to life at Manchester United and things haven't improved for him this afternoon.

In fact, fans of the Red Devils have hit out at the Dutchman on social media after his mistake gifted Stoke City the lead at the Britannia Stadium.

Depay's half-hearted effort to head the ball towards David de Gea failed to find the shot-stopper, instead gifting Glen Johnson the opportunity to slide the ball across to Bojan, who slotted home with ease.

Depay reaction

Unsurprisingly, United fans aren't happy with Depay - and here's how they have reacted on Twitter:

Of course, Depay's not the only one who has been criticised. Red Devils chief Louis van Gaal has once again been slated on Twitter. If United fail to come to prominence in the second half, there's a feeling at Old Trafford that the Dutchman will be sacked later today...

Will Van Gaal get the sack today? Have your say below!
