David Beckham has embarrassed his son, Brooklyn, on multiple occasions during 2015.

So, the eldest child of the former England captain was always going to exact revenge on his old man after finding him asleep on the sofa on Christmas day.

Brooklyn played the classic trick of carefully placing random objects on the sleepy individual - in this case, chocolates - before taking a photo and uploading it to social media. (Scroll down this page to see it).

Full credit must go to Brooklyn for perfectly executing this particular prank. David had multiple chocolates strewn out over him, including three on the face. Textbook.

“Caught my dad asleep. @davidbeckham @victoriabeckham #kissesfromthebeckhams,” Brooklyn posted on his Instagram account.

David loves embarrassing Brooklyn

So, let’s take a closer look at the reason why would Brooklyn have been so keen to get revenge on his famous father.

Clearly, David likes to play the role of embarrassing dad a little too much.

Last month he pulled his son up for wearing one of his jumpers by leaving a comment on Instagram.

Earlier this year he interrupted one of his son’s Instagram videos - the one where he was thanking fans after reaching one million followers - by proudly stating he had 52 followers.

And Brooklyn was even shown up by his dad on the Late Late Show.

So, after this festive stunt, Brooklyn has moved a small step closer to getting even with his dad.
