Mesut Ozil produces match-winning performance against Bournemouth

Mesut Ozil produced a match-winning performance for Arsenal on Monday evening as Arsene Wenger's side secured an important 2-0 over Bournemouth. 

The Germany international assisted the first goal and scored the second as the Gunners replaced Leicester City at the summit of the Premier League table. 

Following proceedings in north London, Ozil was once again hailed for his performance by manager Arsene Wenger.

In fact, the French boss compared Ozil with Arsenal great Dennis Bergkamp, while fans took to social media to once again hail the former Real Madrid man. 

As you can see in the video below, the playmaker racked up his 16th assist of the season as his sublime cross found the head of Gabriel. Ozil's goal was wonderfully taken, too, as he finished in style after a fine exchange with Olivier Giroud.

Ozil really has been Arsenal talisman this season. The technically gifted ace has finally hit top form on English soil and fans believe that he can lead the club to success. A creator and scorer of goals, Ozil's class and guile should inspire Arsene Wenger's side throughout the course of the campaign.

Wenger will be desperate to deliver another title and this season represents a great opportunity for him and his club.
