Kurt Zouma took to Instagram to apologise to Manchester United forward Anthony Martial on Monday night.

The Chelsea ace produced a fine tackle on Martial during the clash at Old Trafford, which led to the Frenchman uploading a photo of himself and his compatriot.

The defender also congratulated the United ace on his performance and insisted that Chelsea secured a 'good point' in Manchester.

The west London outfit played out a 0-0 stalemate with the Red Devils, but both teams could have forced a winner throughout proceedings.

Zouma impressed alongside John Terry at the back for Chelsea, while Martial was the standout forward player on the pitch.

After the clash, the Chelsea man stated: "Very Tough game today, good point.. 👍🏻 let's keep it up... Sorry my bro @martial_9 well played."

Martial the man for United

There's no doubt about it, Martial is going to be crucial for the Red Devils over the coming weeks as the club goes in search of getting back on track.

The talented youngster oozes class and was extremely unlucky not to score against the Blues. Martial gave Branislav Ivanovic a torrid time throughout the game and he should go from strength-to-strength in Manchester.

United must start firing sooner rather than later, but their fans should be buoyed by the strong showing against Chelsea.
