Football News

Cristiano Ronaldo does something with a football and the world takes notice. It doesn't need to be spectacular, it just has to be done by the Real Madrid superstar.

That is exactly why you have clicked on this article. Today, Ronaldo did something that most of us can do if we put our back into, but because it was the three-time Ballon d'Or winner who did the thing, you all want to see it.

And there is nothing wrong with that. The 30-year-old has achieved a God-like status amongst his 108,526,006 Facebook fans thanks in part to a pretty great social media team, but mainly because of his incredible achievements with Manchester United and Los Blancos.

All those fans want to do whatever Ronaldo is doing whether that be wearing tight, expensive pants or kicking footballs 'Rabona' style. You'll be glad to know that this article is about the latter.

A 'Rabona' pass was exactly what Ronaldo attempted in a routine training session on Tuesday afternoon. Brought to our attention by 101GreatGoals, the video is embedded just above.

Not satisfied? Well, luckily Ronaldo was not finished there. He also achieved a pretty fancy backheel pass, which is right here, right now.

Did you watch it? Yes, we know it's nothing spectacular, but we also know that you love it. After all, it was your footballing hero who executed it and there are no videos of Lionel Messi doing it in Barcelona training, are there? Are there?

Of course, Messi doesn't really do showboating. He's more in the business of scoring incredible goals. That's probably why he's set to win his fifth Ballon d'Or title next month.

Don't worry, Cristiano...

You're still the king of the training ground.
