Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar were at their best again on Wednesday evening as Barcelona swept Real Betis aside with an emphatic 4-0 win.

The South American did not get on the scoresheet but he produced another exciting display in the Catalan outfit's final La Liga game of the year.

Not only did he produce yet another amazing rabona touch from a cross-field pass, he also provided one of the assists of the season.

A quick one-two between Suarez and Neymar saw the Brazilian find his teammate with a brilliant backheel spinning pass before the Uruguayan fired home.

Ok, there may have been a hint of fortune about it, but it will still a well-worked team goal.

Messi is odds-on to scoop the Ballon d'Or in January but if Neymar continues at his current level he will pushing his teammate all the way in 12 months time.

The newly crowned Club World Cup winners are in with a chance of bettering their achievements of last season by recording a historic quadruple.

It will be tough but, with their devastating attacking line-up, anything is possible for Barcelona.
