Despite all the questions hanging over Simon Mignolet's head, the Liverpool star will end 2015 with 16 Premier League clean sheets to his name – more than any other goalkeeper.

That is quite an achievement for a man that most Liverpool fans consider to be completely inept at his job. But although many want him out of the first-team – even the club – the statistics speak for themselves and Mignolet deserves recognition for his achievement.

That is what the Liverpool social media team thought on New Year's Eve, putting together a rather slick montage of Mignolet's best saves of the year and publishing it on their official Twitter account.
