Golden State Warriors lose second game of the season without Steph Curry

The Golden State Warriors steam train hasn’t quite been stopped in its tracks, but there was certainly a bump on the line last night as they were beaten by the Dallas Mavericks. With star man Steph Curry sitting out injured, the Warriors were soundly defeated 114-91 by Dallas, who for their part took full advantage of the opportunity on the table. It’s believed Curry could also sit out of tomorrow’s fixture against the Houston Rockets - Warriors fans will certainly hope that’s not the case. Meanwhile, Cleanthony Early of the New York Knicks won’t require surgery, despite having been shot in the leg. The forward was fired upon during a targeted robbery on Wednesday morning, but it’s claimed he is expected to make a full recovery. Estimates put his return at about two to three months.
